Julia Watt is a multi-media artist working mostly in the fashion arena.  She began designing children’s clothing for local boutiques and went on to design for the European and Australian markets.  She then spent many years in theatrical costume design and currently works in a variety of mediums to create unique and wearable jewelry art utilizing everything from basic stringing of semi-precious gemstones and bead weaving to metal-smithing , wirework and clay.  Julia has had several of her jewelry designs featured in magazines such as “Stringing” and websites such as “Beading Daily”.  In addition to being a jewelry designer, Julia is a free-lance photographer, pianist, mom of two awesome and talented daughters, and wife to a great guy who understands her penchant to create into the early hours.
